Our Work
Most of our work never makes it into a portfolio—and that’s intentional. Triad often partners with companies under a NDA developing proprietary subassemblies, machinery, and automation systems. We provide design collaboration, material fabrication and procurement, assembly, and testing, delivering integrated solutions that free our clients to focus on what they do best .
A selection of recent industrial projects include:
Touchscreen-controlled
sorting systems ...
... integrating robotics and barcode readers that dynamically create product sets according to online database-driven specifications. Scope includes custom AC and DC control panel fabrication, pneumatic system and robotic integration, framework assembly, software installation, functional testing, and CE certification.
Upgrades to
existing systems ...
... used for counting, packaging, and labeling product. Scope includes parts fabrication and procurement, framework modifications, custom AC panel fabrication, pneumatic system replacement, upgrade of industrial barcode printer and other components, software installation, functional testing, and CE certification.
56 complex
subassemblies ...
... built for a developing product undergoing field testing, featuring complex, integrated material handling components, stepper motor system, and custom motor control panel.
Here are a few of our non-industrial projects showing engineering design and build capabilities.
Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Dallas, TX
Triad collaborated with Group Delphi to create signature interactive exhibits for the Perot Museum of Nature and Science’s main lobby. Highlights include the Dancing Water installation, featuring 88 motorized, suspended water molecule models that animate in response to visitor movement below, all controlled through a Triad-designed central control system. Triad also produced audio and video installations throughout the museum, including motion-activated musical stairs and elevators, and interactive “talking” trash cans that engage visitors with sound effects and recorded phrases.

Golden State Warriors
Oakland, CA
Triad teamed with Group Delphi to design and install immersive sales offices for the Golden State Warriors’ new arena in Oakland. The experience featured an Arrival Zone, an Immersion Room with a large-scale video wall and surround sound, interactive kiosks, and a rotating physical arena model synchronized with a video wall to showcase sightlines. Triad also developed an arena suite mockup using projection and advanced AV technologies, including networked audio, video over IP, and integrated control systems.
Star Trek: The Experience
Las Vegas, NV
For this elaborate attraction that ran from 1998 to 2008 in the nation’s entertainment capital, Triad Productions delivered the show control system for a full-scale replica of the Starship Enterprise. By seamlessly integrating all subsystems, we helped create a truly immersive, one-of-a-kind experience for Star Trek fans from around the world.
To complete the experience, Triad designed custom simulated touch panels inspired by the USS Enterprise’s iconic futuristic controls. These glass panels incorporated intuitive hand-motion sensors, bringing to life technology that once existed only in science fiction.
